Pumpkin Spice Latte Hits Stores
Early last week, Starbucks released their famous Pumpkin Spice Latte to kick off the fall season. The drink, hitting stores last Tuesday, is now available at all Starbucks and is offered for the prices of $3-$5 depending on the size ordered. The drink will be on sale until mid November.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is one of the most popular drinks at Starbucks. The drink is made just like other hot drinks, consisting of espresso, pumpkin flavored syrup, milk, and whipped cream. This year, along with other drinks, you can order the 'skinny' Pumpkin Spice, meaning no cream, sugar free syrup, and skim milk.
According to the Starbucks website they claim the Pumpkin Spice latte is, "Fall's favorite drink. Signature espresso blended with the unmistakable spices of fall- cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove- smooth with steamed milk and topped with delectably sweetened whipped cream."
The latte originated over ten years ago, in hopes to get customers excited about the fall season. With such a high demand in its debut year, Starbucks has brought the drink back every fall. Other drinks to check out this fall are: the caramel apple cider and the salted caramel mocha.
Starbucks is the largest coffee company, with over 17,000 stores worldwide. Originating in Seattle in 1971, the company hopes to bring forth some of the best coffee in the world. For more information about Starbucks, check out: http://www.starbucks.com/, or call 800-Starbuc (800-782-7282).
